stop taking photos

did this late this arvo.have used pen to handjournal for e2c challenge. yuk hate handwriting.have also done a pen border[which I think the scanner cut off, and also bit of ink smudge marks and stamps, as seemed to fit with the graph paper.Looks quite dull and you cant actually see the graph lined paper, but thats the background. I have actually scraplifted this LO design from the very lovely and talented moira http://lifeephemera.blogspot.com/

[although hers is so much better].hope you dont mind moira.

ps.all comments appreciated!!!!

Hey Maryanne, I'll reply with a mini essay too ;-) First, am very flattered to be scraplifted - thanks for adding to the compliment by lifting it! No, I've not been published anywhere before - but then I haven't submitted for about 2 years either LOL I'd like to start trying again but it's sort og a 'gauge the narket' thing really, and my overwhelming impression is that busy seems to be what's wanted. A shame, because if it weren't for the mags I'd never have heard about Leanne, or Nicole, and I only heard of Di after traipsing around blog searching via Nicole. I love some of the 'big' name styles esp Lynette van B, who't my friend from the LSS - But as much as I admire many other scrappers work, it's simple that I keep coming back to. I'd have to say that LO was only about my second, conscientious attempt to scrap a 'simple' page. (My first was an homage to the demise of Simple Scrapbooks!)

You can get Cathy Z's books (highly recommended) from the creating keepsakes site, but you have to cope with exchange rates and postage. I also recommend Stacy Julian, and I'm desperate to get a hold of Rebecca Coopers book. Back issues could be tricky now - I'd try ebay first. Also Scrapbook Shelf here in Aus

A nice box from Blue Bazaar arrived today. It it pathetic that WRmemory keepers albums and refils can make me so happy? Oh, and Bazzil Swiss Dots!!! Yay! Ok, getting late and rambling, the gods of sleep are communicating... zzzzz....

STOP (insert hand)...being so negative about your own work!! Looks great Maryanne and so typical of kids that have had enough. Don't you go and change it, it looks good. Tracey
