For me mothers day is not about gifts, although when the kids were little I used to love the little things they made.It always means so much more than shop bought gifts.Now the kids are older thay dont do the gift making thing anymore, but a morning coffee will do for me.
We received some tragic news last wednesday night, our nephew died in a car accident, he was only 20 years old.
So today I am really appreciating having my 3 boys home with me, and unlike most sunday mornings, Im not nagging them to clean and do jobs, Im just happy theyre here.

OH Maryanne - I am so sorry to hear about your nephew - 20yrs is far too young. I have just come home from a funeral where a friends husband died in a motorbike accident 10 days ago and left behind Vinnie and 4 gorgeous kids.... it is so wrong - give those you love a hug and tell them> Hugs. X Mel
